Virtual exhibition

A virtual tour of the Artbanka project opening exhibition “Artbanka kick off” presented in dvorak sec contemporary gallery between 30th March and 22nd May.

The kick off exhibition presented the key Artbanka artists. The group of artists includes for example Petr Krátký, Aleš Brázdil, Alžběta Říhová, Ira Svobodová, Katarína Janečková, Denisa Krausová, Josef Mladějovský, Petr Dub, Andrej Dúbravský, Jana Bubelinyová, Světlana Fialová or Dragana Živanovič, whose work became the symbol of 2011 season.

The exhibition concept was developed by two members of the Board of Experts, independent curators Milan Salák and Radek Wohlmuth. Although it is obvious that this is not a standard exhibition project, it is not a typical “salon” either. The two curators worked together to compose an exhibition that would possibly fit into regular exhibition operations and be able to successfully compete on the domestic art scene. At the same time, they attempted to highlight the quality of purchased works, their relevance and ability to communicate with the audience in the representative premises.
