Jan Gemrot (* 1983) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under the guidance of professor Zdeněk Beran. In his paintings , he works with hyper-realistic principle. His paintings capture attention by their provocative and minimalist themes, relating to life and death. Apart from painting, he shoots video clips.
