26.04.2011 Following Artbanka presentation, Petr Dub opens his solo exhibition in City Gallery Prague on 27th April!
Petr Dub, a young artist from Brno, will open his solo exhibition in “Dům U Zlatého prstenu” gallery on 27th April 2011 at 6 p.m. Curator Sandra Baborovská and chief-curator of City Gallery Prague Karel Srp decided to invite him to participate in the “Start-Up” exhibition cycle after seeing the presentation of his latest works in Artbanka.
Petr Dub is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, as a postgraduate student he works together with Václav Stratil in the Intermedia Studio. In his works he plays with shapes, industrial production and found things, his works are always done with precision and are incredibly spellbinding. Petr Dub is a finalist of prestigious events like The Sovereign European Art Prize 2010, the London Barbican Centre; Exit 2009; Start Point 2009 and others.
His exhibition entitled “Kustodka” is open in “Dům U Zlatého prstenu” until 31st May 2011.
